Privacy Policy

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Google or GitHub sign-in: if you choose it, we receive your name, email address and an account identifier from that provider. We do not receive your Google or GitHub password, and we do not store the provider's access token.
• What you publish: reviews, ratings, forum posts, comments, replies, product listings and the images or links you add to them.
• Product ownership checks: the website, DNS or email details you provide to prove that you own a product.
• Messages to us: details you send through forms such as an advertising inquiry.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser details are processed briefly to keep the service secure and to limit abuse.

• to publish the content you choose to share, with your display name;
• to moderate reviews and discussions and to prevent spam, fraud and vote manipulation;
• to send account emails, such as email verification and password resets, and the notifications you have turned on;
• to give verified product owners counts of views, visitors and clicks for their own listings.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. Sponsored placements on ProductProve are labeled and are not targeted using your data.

Reviews, ratings, forum posts, comments, product listings and your display name are visible to everyone and may be indexed by search engines. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Product owners see aggregate numbers such as daily views and website clicks. We count these without storing IP addresses in our statistics, and owners never see who visited their listing.

We use only the cookies needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• sp_session keeps you signed in and protects your actions from forgery.
• sp_oauth_state protects Google or GitHub sign-in and expires after ten minutes.
• Your browser also stores small preferences locally, such as recent searches and whether you dismissed a sign-in prompt.

• Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and stores uploaded images.
• Brevo sends our emails.
• Google and GitHub handle sign-in when you choose them.

These services may process data outside Bangladesh. They receive only what is needed to provide their service.

We keep your account information while your account is active. Security logs and cached technical data are kept only briefly. Backups are replaced on a rolling basis. Content you published may stay visible after you leave unless you ask us to remove it.

You can update your profile and notification preferences in your account, and unsubscribe from notification emails using the link in each email.

To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and its personal information, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days.

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, encrypted storage for sensitive settings, and restricted administrator access. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

ProductProve is for people aged 13 and older. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email or on the site.
